Blue Monday

One of the North West's leading nights for singer songwriters.

Blue Monday is held at the Blue Cat Cafe every Monday. Previous guest appearances include Haven, Tom Hingley (ex Inspiral Carpets), Electric Six and a host of new talent cutting their teeth in the world of songwriting and performance.

The night is hosted by a selection of special guest comperes. It is a friendly and informal event that regularly attracts good audiences & many performers go on to play full band gigs at the venue.

PA and lighting is provided. Performers should arrive by 8pm in order to sign in at the bar. After that just tune up, relax and enjoy the night. You will normally get to play two to three songs (original material only)

Comedy Nights

Top, professional comedians from the UK Comedy Circuit
on the first Sunday of every month.

Early start for an early finish and lots of laughing inbetween (doors 7pm, show starting 7.45 prompt, aiming to finish around 10pm). Inbetween we've got fantastic acts lined up, many of whom you can pay two or three times as much to see in the City Centre.

Stay local, laugh loads and enjoy world class comedy in The Heatons!
